2008 Native American Tourism of Wisconsin (NATOW)
Conference and Fund Raising Golf Outing

Hello Tourism Partners:
We welcome you to attend the 2008 Native American Tourism of Wisconsin (NATOW) Conference and Fund Raising Golf Outing. The Conference will be held at the Mole Lake Conference Center in Mole Lake on June 17 and the Fund Raising Golf Outing will be held the following day, June 18, at the Nicolet Golf Course in Laona, WI.

Our Conference this year will highlight the organizational changes currently underway to make NATOW a bigger and better organization for the years to come. Chairman Gerald Danforth, Oneida Nation, has spearheaded an effort to establish NATOW as an official program of GLITC and he will introduce the organizational changes taking place to the conference attendees. Other tribal leaders who will participate in the program are Arlyn Ackley, Chairman of the Sokaogon (Mole Lake) Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and Bob Chicks, President of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans and the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council.

Lending their hand in partnership, Kelli Trumble, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism and other Department staff will present information on the strong partnership we have developed with the Department and the assistance they are providing the Wisconsin Tribes in their tourism promotional efforts.

The Fund Raising Golf Outing promises to be a fun and rewarding experience once again, giving participants not only a chance to do some great golfing, but also providing an outstanding networking opportunity for tribal leaders, tribal members, vendors and sponsors and others to connect.

The agendas for the NATOW Conference and Fund Raising Golf Outing are attached as well as the Registration Form for both.

We look forward to your attendance! Please register early so we can reserve your spot for both the conference and the golf outing.
